Since the beginning, I’ve always wanted my bridesmaids to choose their own dresses, as long as they’re navy blue.  But I’ve seen many bridal parties now sporting different colors or different shades of a certain color.  And I’m liking it.

The problem with my bridal party is that I only have 2 bridesmaids and the impact won’t be as beautiful as those above.  So I’m still trying to decide whether I’ll have them wear same shade or not.

I stumbled upon this awesome nautical theme from Wedding Moments Magazine that uses red, white and blue color motif.  Isn’t it perfect for a seaside 4th of July party?  Happy 4th of July!!

I fell in-love with Rebecca and Akshay’s monogram colors while I was creating them, so I decided to create a wedding inspiration board based on those colors.

Sharla and Tyler’s monogram colors have that coolness I love.  So of course, I had to create a wedding inspiration board.

Amber and Jeff’s wedding is a great example of a themed wedding gone fab.  The couple decided on a school theme as an homage to where they met - a university.  It’s not common, but their color scheme of aqua and red make such a beautiful combination.  What I’m so amazed about are the DIY projects Amber had taken on.  She is very creative and they all turned out awesome.  Professional photos taken by Lucida Photography.
