Do you like the Flash sites you see online and want one of your own, but don’t know how to use Flash?  Well, now you can for free at Wix.com.  I’m not a big fan of Flash websites as a lot of them are not universally accessible.  But you can do a lot of cool things (e.g. animations).

Now that our wedding is done, I decided to update our wedding website to contain mostly photos.  So I tried out Wix.  Here are screenshots of the site I created.

The Wix site editor was pretty easy to use if you’re starting from a template and you need to do basic editing.  Some actions that you need to do may not be easy to figure out sometimes.  The page manager is the part that I hate the most.  It’s hard to get to and hard to understand.  The editor also doesn’t have a media manager.  There’s no way to organize photos (for example) and if you need to use them again, you’ll have to scroll through a lot of pages if you have a lot of photos.

Before anything else, I would like to thank all of you for visiting and reading my blog.  My readers are very important to me.  Without you, this blog wouldn’t exist.  So every beginning of the year, I try to re-evaluate the blog, and make necessary changes to improve quality and relevance of content.

I’ve had accounts on Twitter and Facebook, but wasn’t actively updating them.  So I haven’t really posted about them.  But now I’ll try to regularly update them with everything that is going on in my wedding planning.  So now people can…

Twitter:  My blog posts automatically gets posted on Twitter, but I’m also going to include mini posts about my own wedding planning that won’t be on the blog.

Facebook:  In addition to status updates on my wedding planning, I will also post photos!

Can’t get enough of Twitter?  Well, there are talks about a TV series revolving around one of the fastest-growing internet site.

The social-networking site has teamed with Reveille Productions and Brillstein Entertainment Partners to develop an unscripted series that would put Twitter users on the trail of celebrities in an interactive, competitive format

I’m planning to slowly get rid of the very very very old blog address: www.gnyc.net/senseless.  The old address still works and will continue working for probably 6 more months.

There’s more to Shutterfly than photo sharing, photo books and cards.  Shutterfly has its own website creation tool.  And I suggest brides take advantage of this free helpful tool!  It’s very easy to use.

Here are just a few of the features:

• Photo sharing – your guests can easily upload digital photos they took at your wedding
• Privacy and security – you can control permissions (view, comment, contribute, edit, etc) of the whole site and of each page
• Tools (widgets) – there are so many tools available including calendar, map, to-do list, journal (blog), guestbook, bookmarks, videos, files, message board, polls, and a lot more.

Aylee Bits is now mobile-friendly.  More people browse the web via their mobile phone including me, so I decided to make it a little easier for them us.

You can easily revert to the regular layout by clicking “View Full Version” at the bottom of the screen.

For those who are using Wordpress and want to go mobile as well, I use the plugin MobilePress.  It’s great and very easy.  Just install, activate and you’re done.
