I’ve heard a lot of brides not able to sleep the night before their weddings. I witnessed this first hand when I was my cousin’s maid-of-honor. We both slept at her hotel room before the wedding and she just kept turning unable to sleep. I was very exhausted from my trip (NY to Philippines) just the day before, but I just kept waking up from her moving.
I love my sleep. I don’t want what happened to my cousin to happen to me. I wanna have a good night sleep before the wedding considering I’m waking up at 5am on my wedding day. But I know I’ll be too anxious, nervous, excited, whatever to go to sleep. So I was thinking of taking drugs. Yup, I wanna drug myself to sleep. I usually take Tylenol PM (for travel) to knock me out. What do you think? Is there a better and safe drug out there that I can take to help me get a good night sleep and not feel groggy early the next morning?

RAVE: Prodyne Acrylic Juice Jar
I was looking for a carafe that I can use everyday. I am very clumsy so I prefer non-glass ones. Then I found the Prodyne Acrylic juice jar. It’s a clear carafe made of acrylic so it was perfect. It comes with a screw-in lid either in white or black. It also comes in two sizes: 56oz and 36oz.
When I got it, I was pleasantly surprised. It looked like glass! The lid is a screw-in so there are screw threads on the mouth of the carafe, but it still looks fine with or without the lid. The lid has a little opening and a cover with a rubber stopper to seal it. The cover does not open easily. I guess it’s better tight that way so it won’t loosen so easily. I flipped that carafe 360° several times (not slowly) to see how tight that seal was, and so far no spills. The acrylic wasn’t very thick, but hopefully it lasts. Unfortunately I can’t try to drop it to see how sturdy it is, sorry! But I still highly recommend it if you’re looking for a non-glass carafe.

I ordered two items from Amazon. One was shipped via USPS (the post office), and the other via UPS. I received the item via the post office February 27 regardless of weather conditions. The item via UPS was delayed twice. I don’t understand why it was delayed the second time when the weather was fine. Shipment date was changed from February 26 to March 2, but it was delayed again and didn’t receive it until March 3.
DIY: Stenciled Wine Glass
Personalize your wine glasses with a word or two… a great way to add a personal touch to your party. Be creative with your words and it can be a conversation piece.

This is not your regular stenciling, it’s edible! All you need are stencils, corn syrup and cinnamon. Head on to The City Cradle for the instructions. It’s pretty easy!
