Clambake rehearsal dinner inspiration
We originally wanted a clambake / lobsterbake wedding on the beach, but that is not gonna happen. So we were thinking of doing it for the rehearsal dinner instead.
The plan is to rent a vacation home with a big backyard (by the beach if possible) in the Newport area and do our own clambake.

I still have to come up with the logistics. If it is more expensive or just a little less expensive, we would probably just have a clambake somewhere else like the Atlantic Beach Club, and not deal with the hassle of doing it on or own.

Real Inspiration: Preppy June Wedding
Erin and Nic’s wedding is one of my inspirations for my own wedding. The bright color combination of navy, yellow and white makes this wedding so much fun to look at… and to be in as well I bet! Don’t you just love Erin’s smile? By the way, she’s my event coordinator at Belle Mer! Photos were taken by one of my favorite photographers, Kristin Spencer.

Inspiration Overload

Photo from Getty Images
I’ve been visiting weddding sites non-stop since John and I got engaged. It’s been about 15 months now and it’s making me insane. While we already have a style in mind for our wedding, the different inspirations I see everyday make me want to just totally change everything. And that is not possible without pushing me to insanity.
This is where I wish I have a wedding planner to think of everything… someone I can just send all the inspiration photos I’ve collected and have them all come to reality.
This is where I want to give up on all the wedding projects I’ve taken on and just sit and relax.
This is where I want to just elope, and at the same time have as many weddings as the ones I have in my inspiration folder.
This is where I want to scream at myself to stop looking at wedding inspirations. But no matter how loud or how often I do so, I still find myself infront of my computer staring at wedding photos.
Have you found yourself changing your wedding style and details during the course of your wedding planning?
