Hi, my wedding date is October 3, 2009. My fiancee (Jeremy) and I have both always dreamed of a fall wedding since we love the changing foliage of Upstate New York that time of year. We’re working on combining the traditions of my Catholic family with his Protestant family, which has been interesting to say the least! Beyond the wedding, we just can’t wait to be Mr. and Mrs… :)

Wow – I have been admiring your work for so long, it would be such an honor to win this amazing prize. Our wedding date is 9/6/09. We’re bringing in our families from all over the country – Wisconsin, Illinois, Jersey, Pennsylvania for our destination wedding in Orlando. We’re having an outdoor ceremony, so we have been considering doing the fan programs for quite sometime. We live in Florida, so the heat doesn’t bother us, but we know it will bother our Northerner folks who complain at anything over 80 degrees. My fiance and I have an interesting story of the way we met – in an airport gift shop! After some time chit chatting at the bar, we found out we were on the same plane going to the same destination. It was meant to be, and now we’re incorporating our serendipitous meeting into our wedding theme with vintage luggage as the card box, save the dates we did airport boarding passes, and silver luggage tags as the place cards, and more!

Our wedding is going to be right on the beach in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. It will begin about 45 minutes before sunset. We will have close friends and family come down for a vacation wedding. I cannot wait to marry the man of my dreams and the countdown has begun! May 1, 2010!

Our wedding is on July 25, 2009 on the beach in Newport Beach, California. Our ceremony will be westernized but our reception will take place at a Chinese restaurant and will be a 10 course Chinese wedding banquet in honor of my fiance’s family and heritage. We are both very excited and can’t wait! :)

Good Afternoon!!! My wedding is September 12, 2009 in Charleston, SC so it can get hot down here even in September and this is such a wonderful idea… I am having an outside wedding by the river at Magnolia Plantation!!! So these fans are more than a great idea they are super awesome!

Love your templates! Our wedding is October 11, 2009 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The ceremony will take place on the beach. Would love to use these fans as programs and fans since it will be hot!

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this contest! Cory and I will be married on August 30th, 2009 in Santa Fe, NM. Given that it is likely to be warm (ok, hot) during our outdoor ceremony, we are both so impressed by the idea of program fans. What a great idea. Your designs are beautiful! We hope to hear from you soon!

Hello, my wedding is September 26, 2009 in Gainesville, GA on a farm. I would love to have these at my wedding, due to the rustic scene plus September is usually a scorcher here in GA. My wedding will be classy with a touch of the rustic. Outdoor wedding and my reception will be in a barn.

Our wedding is July 10, 2010. Since we have family all across the states, we’re having a travel theme in teal, silver, and orange. The reception will be at a golf course country club and it gets quite warm!

My daughter(who is 3) and I love your templates. My fiancee and I are getting married on August 10, 2010 in Key West, Florida at Smathers beach. We are having only our closest family and friends because I am a bride on a serious budget. However, it has always been my dream to get married on the beach. I believe that the little touches can make a spectacular event and your program fans would be more than perfect for the humid beach ceremony. I am already working on my “Boarding Pass” Save the Dates – so wish me luck… :)

I absolutely love your work. We are getting married August 8, 2009 in Miami, FL. And being that Miami is known for the night life and the beach we are going with that type of theme and the fan programs would be absolutely perfect. Our colors are Mermaid(from the davids bridal color collection), silver, and black. Thank you for this oppurtunity.

I am getting married on August 1, 2009 in my hometown, just outside of Washington, DC; to the man that I started dating in high school, 7 years ago. Our colors are teal and metallic ivory/champagne. I want our wedding to be super-fun and have a romantic atmosphere. Since it’ll be during the hottest part of the year, fans would be a refreshing treat!

Wow!!! What a perfect addition a fan program would be for our outdoor southern plantation wedding. The date is October 10, 2009. Our story is a true when “North met South”. My future husband is from Boston, and I grew up in Arkansas. We are having a “peacock” inspired wedding theme. Love your work!!!!

Aylee:

I am very excited about this giveaway. While I am not getting married, my church is having a conference and I enjoyed your design so much that we want to use them for our program at the conference. Our conference is July 16-18 2009 and our theme is “crossover and possession” what we are using as a picture to represent our themes is a bridge over a river with lots of trees and flowers as a surrounding(wish I could send you the picture). Everyone is so excited about your fan because it is so unique and different. Love your creativity.

We’re getting married on March 27th in an outside ceremony. These fans would be wonderful to help keep our guests cool!

Hi Aylee,
My wedding date is April 9th, 2011. My fiancee (Joe) and I have started planning our wedding & have decided on a stock car like wedding ( i know your probobly thinking TACKY ). My fiancee races locally, so this theme fits in nicley. We aren’t over doing it with this theme, we are also keeping the elegance of it aswell. We have chosen black, white & red as our colors, we kept in mind that it needs to be romantic yet ‘us’.
I look forward to hearing more for you.
Thanks again for this opportunity :)

Our wedding is September 19, 2009 in Denver CO. We are having an intimate brunch ceremony and reception with a simple and vintage feel.

Hi Aylee,
My wedding date is 10/24/09. We’re having our wedding at a marina in Seabrook, TX, a suburb of Houston. I’m in love with purple orchids, so our colors are purple, chocolate brown, and champagne. We’re using orchids for our centerpieces.

Hi Aylee,
Our wedding date is November 30, 2010. We will wed aboard the Carnival Sensation in Nassau, Bahamas. We’re excited about our intimate wedding with only our closest family and friends. We are using seashells as part of our tropical/beach themed wedding.

First, thank you for giving us all the opportunity to win these amazing fan programs! My fiance (Carl) and I are getting married on May 22, 2010. Our wedding is going to be the perfect mix of traditional and elegant with our own personal modest touches. Our colors are baby blue, chocolate brown and ivory, and our theme is the beach; although this theme is meant to be touches here and there, not take over the whole event. We aspire to include unique, imaginative ideas that neither of our families have experienced before, and the perfect way to accommodate that would be to begin the celebration with one of Aylee’s stunning fan programs!

Hi! I’d love to win this! My best friend is getting married in Jan 2010 and I’ve been planning everything for her. I’m going crazy but it’s well worth the efforts. Count me in please! Thank you and thanks for the amazing things you have to offer including tutorials and all.

Best wishes!

Hi there!

I am marrying my best friend on August 15, 2009. Our wedding ceremony will be held in the chapel at our Alma Mater in Jacksonville, Illinois. Our ceremony will merge contemporary music with traditional themes. We will celebrate with family and friends at a beautiful reception hall a few blocks from the ceremony. The colors are white and black with red accents. The main flowers are roses and cala lilies.

Hi :) Joseph & I are getting married in Honolulu next Valentine’s Day (we met doing placements at St. Valentine’s Elementary school). Since we are having an outdoor wedding at 12 noon in Hawaii, these fans would be absolutely perfect for us & our guests. We are also going to give our personalized water bottles. Our colours are Tiffany Blue & ivory with gold accents, and damask designed invitations.

Thanks for holding this contest! I have been anxiously waiting for you to get back to your beautiful design work! Hope you’re doing better now!

Hello! My fiance (Karl) and I are getting married on October 16, 2010 and we are having a peacock themed wedding receptions. I think the DIY fan programs would go GREAT with this theme, as they are the perfect shape to match our wedding. Thanks for a great giveaway and good luck to all!

Wow, I have been looking at your fan template for a while now as I want to have each paper design different for our wedding. We are having a sunset themed wedding on 08/09/10 in Kelowna BC (where it is very HOT… perfect for a handheld fan lol). I am doing the whole thing DIY… I hope :) We are doing magazine type Save the Dates, cheque book style invites, ribboned menues, pictures of all the important places in our life together will act as table markers, and we are using childhood pictures of all of our guests as placecards. The only thing missing is our programs!

Hi Aylee,

I love your fan programs. Our wedding date is on August 29,2009. We are having a outdoor ceremony in Shakespeare garden. I am the first in my family to get married. Since it is a Chinese wedding, we are used to having a tea ceremony only. I have never seen anyone in my generation to have a westernized ceremony and I am lucky to be the first one. I want to make it special and memorable.I am so happy and excited. Just can’t wait….

My fiance,Sam, and I will be married on 8/21/09 in McDonough, GA. We are having an outdor ceremony and are looking forward to using the fans as an elegant way to keep our guest cool. Georgia summers can be sweltering to say the least. We have looked into making the programs ourselves but the layout has never comeout quite right. Our colors are Latte and Champagne with a hint of blue. We’ve found that roses and hydrangeas mimic the look of simple elegance that we were trying to capture.
Thank you for the opportunity and buena suerte to everyone (GOOD LUCK)!!!

Hi Aylee! I cannot tell you how excited I was when I heard about this contest! I have been admiring your fan programs since my fiance and I got engaged last June 19. Our wedding is June 19, 2010. Our theme is a modern Cinderella story with light pink, bright pink, and black as our colors. We are getting married on an estate with the ceremony in the garden and the reception on the lawn behind the house. We are even having a horse and carriage to truly set the fairy tale tone. I cannot wait! Thank you so much for providing this opportunity for all the lovely brides (and grooms) out there!

Hi! We’re using your boarding pass template since we’re doing a destination wedding on October 10th of this year, and have a world travel theme (each table will be themed a different country we’ve traveled to). And, we’re bringing in performers from different cultures, too – bag piper, cultural dancing, etc. Love the fan template since my fiance’s last name is actually Fan, so it would be a great tie-in :)

Hi! My wedding is a destination wedding in the Philippines next year June 26, 2010. We will be having a church ceremony on this beautiful chapel on top of a hill and the reception at a hall with the Taal Volcano as the backdrop. I want to have a fan program because its perfect for the hot Philippine weather. :)

What a great contest! Our tentative wedding date is April 2, 2011 in Clearwater Beach, Fl. We are having an outdoor ceremony on the beach so these program fans would be absoultely perfect! I love these, think they are so cute and practical, and we would love to win!

Hi, thanks for this opportunity to win such a beautiful fan program. Our wedding is 8/29/09 in New York this Fall. We are having an outdoor ceremony and your program kit fits into the simple but elegant wedding theme we are having. It would be awesome to win this gorgeous program kit.
Thanks again

Our wedding is 8/20/10 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Your product would fit wonderfully in out modern yet elegant theme!

I have been playing with your template all afternoon. My fiance and I are getting married June 19, 2010. I know it is a little early to be planning the wedding programs. My best friend just got married and we waited waaaaayyyyy to long to start making the programs. I love the whole DIY ideas on your website. I love DIY, however, the programs we did for her wedding were a nightmare, and not as creative as they would have been if we had more time!

I plan on using your basic template and go from there! However winning this prize would be amazing!! It would just take it to the next level!

Love your site!!

Caitlyn

Hello from Bermuda,
I am entering to win the DIY fan program kit temlate for a friend of mine getting married on September 12th. The wedding will be held in a beautiful garden in the historic town of St George’s, Bermuda and this fan can be doubled as a fan for the heat as well as a program for the ceremony. Friends are the greatest gifts so I thought this would be a great surprise for the couple

My daughter is marrying the man of her dreams on September 19, 2009. The wedding will be held in our yard in the country. We have been very busy with yard and garden work, as well as painting, etc, as we want everything to be lovely for her. My husband is great at helping me with “my” projects and we want to attempt making the program fans. However, we are running into various difficulties so would LOVE to win this wonderful gift.

Hi Aylee! My fiance Chris and I are getting married on October 17th, 2009 in Huddleston, VA. Our wedding colors are green, white and black with a hint of damask. It is a slightly modern wedding being held in a very traditional church – the same church where my parents were also married. The church is small and will be packed with guests (just like my mom’s wedding!). A fan would be the perfect type of program for our wedding. Thank you for this opportunity!

Hey There!
I am getting married on July 31, 2009. Me fiance Zach and I have been planning our wedding for over a year now and we have had a blast with it all! The wedding we am planning is going to be big. Not so much with decorations but with people. We wanna be around the people we love and care most. I grew up in a small town where everyone is your family. The town I grew up in helped support my family through my fathers battle with cancer, unfortuatley on July 31st he will not be there to walk me down the aisle but he will be there in spirit, smiling down on me from up above. My town supported us through the hard times and now its my turn to give back to my “family” and enjoy the good times. Thank you for the opportunity to win such a creative creation!

We’re getting married July 25, 2009. The ceremony will be held outside by a lake in the middle of Iowa farm country. These fans will be a perfect way to offer a bit of relief from the hot and humid summer air.

Our wedding is August 1st 2009.
It will be an outside garden themed wedding in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. We are hoping for warm weather and a fan program would be perfect to keep our guests cool and happy!

Hi, we are getting married on August 8, 2009. My fiance,Kelly , and I have decided on a theme of different for our wedding. Our wedding colors are emerald green, yellow and navy blue for our favorite football teams Notre Dame and Michigan. Everything that we have chosen for the wedding is something that made us say “That is different!” and once we came upon your fans that is exacly what came out of our mouths. She does not know that I am doing this and it would be a great surprise to get her what she realy wants for our big day. Thank you for the opportunity.

July 11, 2009 @ 5 p.m.

casual, outdoor Georgia wedding on the property of a small country church my grandparents attend

bridesmaids will wear red and white sundresses, groomsmen-linen pants and white button up shirts with red undershirts

decor will be a lot of greenery and fruits (going natural and hopefully low-budget)

we’re excited because we’re having a low-country boil (totally southern thing) for our main course at the reception which will be held under a large tent on the property. We expect about 200-250 people to attend and we hope that there will be lots of love, laughs, dancing, fun, and good memories

Aylee, I love your work. Thank you for creating such unique logos and ideas for DIY brides like me.

Our Wedding: When, where and our vision
Our wedding will take place in sunny Miami, FL on November 27th, 2009. Since our relationship is one of a kind and unlike any other of our friends and family, we decided the venue should be just as special and unique. On that note, we searched for a venue that overlooked the Miami Bay area. I always envisioned a traditional church wedding. But since meeting Alex, nothing has come close than to be married by the place we love most and that is Miami, the Sunset and the Beach. And most important, it already has our wedding colors, silver and sky blue. What better environment to have such a beautiful and unique wedding than the Miami Seaquarium. I can not wait to spend another ten years with Alex and many more.

Hi my fiance, Todd and I are getting married this summer on August 3rd in Kelowna, BC at a golf club. The ceremony is outside and it is going to be hot! The bridesmaid dresses are a cranberry color, my dress is ivory, and the flower girls dress baby pink. I love these types of programs, it would be perfect!

I LOVE these fans, I’ve been searching everywhere for something as DIY and inexpensive as possible and these fit perfectly!

We are getting married September 18, 2010 and it will take place outside, in a state park just outside of Richmond, Va. We’re anticipating that it will still be relatively hot outside and would like to have programs our guests are actually SUPPOSED to fan themselves with.

Keep up the great ideas!

These fans are SOO cute!
We are getting married September 6, 2009 in a gorgeous Japanese garden setting in northern Illinois. Originally I wanted to buy our guests folding fans and use a ribbon to attach it to the program, but I found this site and fell in love all over again!

Our wedding is taking place in Louisiana.
Very rustic-chic. I’m trying to get this look with a super-low budget, too!
I love those fans, and think they would go well with the theme of my wedding, as well as the hot Louisiana weather on July 26th, 2010!

Greetings! My fiance and I are getting married September 29, 2009 in St. Louis, MO and we are planning an outdoor wedding. We are looking forward to having a beautiful and memorable wedding celebration. Our wedding colors are fuchsia and purple. I am so glad to have found this site, the DIY fans will certainly add the touch of class and style we’re looking for. For 250 guests I will be jumping for joy if I won those precut fan leaves. LOL

i loveeeee all your info and all your templates. Such a wonderful resource for anything and everything for the DIY bride
thank you so much!!!!!
We are just getting around to our programs now and thoes precut blades would be absolutly amazing right about now with our wedding just 24 short days away on 7/11/09

Hello,
Our wedding date is Septmeber 12 and I’m so pumped! Our wedding will be next to the Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC!!! We originally were looking at the fan programs that are on a stick but these are way more fun so I think I’ll go with this one. Our reception is outdoors on our church lawn so the fans with get all day use :) and hopefully it doesn’t rain!!! Thanks for all the DIY information, if I don’t win atleast I have that!!!

My wedding is July 3, 2009 which isn’t too far away! My mother has been BEGGING me to have program fans since the wedding will be outside in Georgia in the middle of the summer. I’ve been looking everywhere for a template and found yours…I love DIY, but I’m quickly running out of time and have several unfinished projects for the big day! Our wedding colors are navy blue and a burnt orange color with ivory accents, and we both are music teachers, which I am incorporating where I can without being too over the top with it. Love your ideas and would really appreciate the help!

HI! I absolutely love your wedding fans. I have been scouring the net trying to figure out how to make these for my wedding. We are getting married September 6, 2009, outside next to a lake. We have a black and white theme, with red roses, different colors of pink & white carnations, and stargazers. I have three young daughters that will be my flower girls and jr bridesmaid.

I have been doing everything DIY, from the invitations, response cards, direction cards, save the date cards, menus, table numbers, placecards, our WEDDING CAKE! You name it and I have probably either done it or decided it was going to take too much work, time, or money.

Thanks again for the template!

Hi! These fans are beyond amazing! Me and my fiance are getting married outside in historic Galena, IL on August 7th, 2009. We met in Kindergarten and grew up together so our wedding will be fairly large since we want everyone who has influenced our lives to be there. Our colors are tiffany blue and chocolate. I’m a DIY bride and these fans would be perfect for our guests to cool off in the heat! Thanks for this opportunity :)

Still waiting for MR Right but would like to be married again someday…….. DIY is the only way to go though….

Hello,
I am so excited about this upcoming contest. I am getting married on August24, 2009 and I would love to win this sample kit as I want to do fan programs for my wedding. These fans have a modern feel and I love the uniqueness they offer. This would be a great help especially for such a hot month as August.

Hi!
I am a total DIY bride and I love these fan programs! Will probably make them myself even if I don’t win :) My fiance John and I are getting married on September 19, 2009 in Carlsbad, CA. It will be an outdoor gazebo ceremony and our colors are jade and ivory. I already have the ribbon and the precut fan leaves would be awesome!!

Hi!
Our wedding date is 08.08.09 and I would LOVE to have these awesome fans at our hot Louisiana wedding! We would love to include this modern element into our non-traditional theme. Checkout http://www.jasminandnakia.com and see what it’s all about. I thought that I was stuck on finding the right programs but I located these great program fans! Thanks for this contest!

Thank you for emailing about this contest. I am getting married August 28th back in Canada with my family. I miss them so much. My fiance and I are both Canadians, living in California the past 5 yrs. We are trying to do as much our selves as we can long distance and its hard. These ideas you post are so inspiring. I have been wanting a fan program for our ceremony because it will be on a sundeck and it would provide some relief if needed under the summer sun. Plus its more environmentally friendly than some options, and totally customizable. It just suits my style and i think people would really dig it. We are trying to save money because of having to travel, so this kit would be perfect.
My colors are light aqua blue and red.
Thank you Aylee for posting such a fun contest.

OH MY GOD this would be an honor and a great help in our wedding, we are planning on doing alot of DIY projects to save money on our wedding and this would be a blessing and greatly appreciated to win this contest. My fiance and I are getting married next year on May 22,2010, in Chattanooga,TN at a outdoor tent wedding, and the fan programs would go great with the ambiance and scene of this wonderful and blessingful day. The color scheme for the wedding is Lilac, Chocolate, Ivory with a splash of yellow. This would be GREAT!!! Thanks in Advance for this opportunity!

I love these programs! Our wedding is July 31, 2010 outside Boston overlooking the beach. Our colors are navy, lime green and hot pink. We are planning a interfaith ceremony, so programs are a must for everyone to follow along! Thanks!

I just stumbled across your website and fell in love! My Joe and I are getting married next May in a country church where I was once a flower girl and my grandmother is now buried. I have been on the hunt for fan programs and this one reminds me of the kind my grandmother used to give to me when I was a little girl – such a beautiful design! I’m trying to add some vintage flavor to my wedding with a palatte of apple green, ivory and black. So happy I found your blog – I will now be a loyal follower! Thank you for the inspiration,

Amy

This is the program style I am going to be using for my wedding in November. I can’t believe I stumbled onto this site tonight. My wedding is a “peacock wedding” and this fan style will match perfectly. I am utilizzing many different colors from the feather into the wedding from the blues, light green, and brown. This is an awesome giveaway!

Hi! We are getting married on July 31, 2009 in Philadelphia. We both love the beach and are doing a beach theme wedding! I thought these fans would be a great idea for our programs…especially since our Church is not air conditioned!

Hi Aylee!!! My fiance and I are getting married at Krape Park in Freeport, Illinois on August 1, 2009. I have been planning on DIYing my own fan programs anyway, so this giveaway would be awesome!
