Twitter on TV?

Can’t get enough of Twitter?  Well, there are talks about a TV series revolving around one of the fastest-growing internet site.

Twitter

The social-networking site has teamed with Reveille Productions and Brillstein Entertainment Partners to develop an unscripted series that would put Twitter users on the trail of celebrities in an interactive, competitive format

What is Twitter anyway?
Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

By the way, Aylee Bits do twit!  Click here to visit my Twitter site.

Can you afford a baby?

At the moment, John and I have no plans of having a child.  It is still possible that I will change my mind in the future.  Right now, that’s not the future I see.  But if that time happens, before we start conceiving, there’s one important question we need to answer: Can we afford parenthood?

  • It costs between $148,000 to $299,000 to raise a child through the first 17 years of the child’s life.
  • Obviously kids will add to your expenses, so it is recommended that high interest credit cards are almost paid, if not paid in full.
  • Will you be able to afford your currently monthly expenses plus expenses on food, clothing, diapers, healthcare / family health insurance, and other miscellaneous expenses for your baby?  Don’t forget to allocate a few hundred dollars of wiggle room as well.
  • Will you be able to afford being on maternity leave, paid or not?
  • Will you be able to afford making your home kid-friendly?  Is it big enough for an additional family member?

There are so many things to consider.  But all parents I know will never trade parenthood with anything else.  Their kids are the loves of their lives.

Are you planning to have kids?

Engaged: Kristel & Michael – NYC

Kristel and Michael’s engagement photos make me fall in-love with NYC all over again.  The husband and wife photography team, Robert and Kathleen Trenske, beautifully captured the love between the couple and the beauty of NYC.  The shoot was done at Grand Central Station, Central Park, and the Brooklyn Bridge.

Engagement Session: NYC

Engagement Photo Shoot Inspirations

Our engagement involves three major cities.  John lives in one, I live in another, and we’re getting married in the third.  So when we were asked where we’re holding our engagement photo session, we really don’t know.  As I look for wedding inspirations, I asked myself why not look for engagement photo shoot inspirations as well.

So starting tomorrow, you will see a new feature here at Aylee Bits called Engagement Photo Shoot Inspirations.  It aims to help brides and grooms find their perfect location for an engagement shoot.  It’s also amazing to find unusual locations (that one will never think to do a photo shoot at) produce some of the coolest photos.

Inspiration #11: Ice Blue + Gray

Sharla and Tyler’s monogram colors have that coolness I love.  So of course, I had to create a wedding inspiration board.

Where is Aylee?

Ola! We’re in Mexico! Yup, you heard that right. We booked the trip before the Swine flu issue began. But we decided not to cancel. So here we are.

I will post my first trip log as soon as possible. But for now, I’m relaxing at our balcony after a day of diving :)
