Hyatt Harborside is right on the Boston Harbor and has a nice view of the Boston skyline. It is also pretty close to the airport so be aware that if you choose to hold your wedding outdoors, you might hear planes zooming by. Their website has a lot of wedding information and their wedding packages include a lot of perks including wedding cake, floor length linens (they have a few in stock, not only white), and suite accommodations for the bride and groom with champagne and strawberries.
Hyatt Harborside has a few event locations available including the Grand Ballroom, Skyline Ballroom and Harborside Pavilion. We looked at Skyline Ballroom and Harborside Pavilion as they suit our style more and are not too big for our number of guests (80-100).
1. The Skyline Ballroom is located on the 2nd floor and is shaped like a half circle. The curved side is lined with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that gives a beautiful view of the Boston skyline. It was pretty small compared to other hotel ballrooms but it can accommodate up to 200 for a banquet.
2. The Harborside Pavilion is a permanent tent located on the hotel’s lawn overlooking the harbor and the Boston skyline. It is bigger than the Skyline Ballroom and can accommodate up to 250 for a banquet. I was leaning more towards the Harborside Pavilion because it is outdoors. While outdoors, the Pavilion had carpeted flooring or flooring of some sort.
Ceremonies can be held at the lawn by the harbor or in any of the available event locations.

Aylee, I have been anxiously awaiting your post regarding the Hyatt Harborside because it is my #1 choice for a location. I visited this past weekend for the first time and still loved it. I was specifically looking at the Pavilion. However I think the pricing I received both prior to my visit and during my visit were the same. They had an $18K food & beverage minimum for a Saturday Night Wedding and 15K min for a Friday/Sunday or any other time. I’m curious where you heard the 7500 min? Also the service charge was 15% gratuity/7% Admin Fee/5% tax and the tax is applicable to the 7% admin fee in MA. I am also having 100 -120 guests. Love your blog.
