The Basement: Introduction

After the flood, we had to renovate the basement.  All floors and walls are going to be replaced with new ones.  All furniture and other loose items in the basement were dumped.  Now, I need to furnish all rooms.  So I decided to do “The Basement” series.

I’ll be posting my plans on how to furnish the place, including furniture, lighting, home accessories, rugs, dinnerware, and a lot more.  I’ll eventually post some before’s and after’s, too.  Since I’m on a very tight budget (the whole thing was unexpected and I didn’t have time to save for furnishings), it might take me a while to finish all rooms.  But I’m excited!  Stay tuned…
