WTF Wednesday

I’m looking to book a few tours and shuttle transfers for our Cabo trip with TransCabo.com since it was recommended by a few CSL forum members.

I emailed Transcabo for more information about their tours.  I didn’t get a response.  I went to their website to see how much the tours cost so I filled out the form to see the total.  I wasn’t ready to book at the time, so I didn’t continue to book it.  I received an email right away reminding me about the form I filled out and if I wanted to go ahead and book it.  I emailed them back with the questions I had earlier, but I again didn’t receive a response.

Today, I decided to book the shuttle transfers.  I proceeded to pay by clicking on their Paypal button.  I logged in to my Paypal and after I clicked “PAY”, I got this error instead.

I tried to call their US toll-free number, but I couldn’t go through.  An automated message says my balance is too low.  Huh?  What balance?  I was using my landline and cellphone.

Anyway, I tried Paypal again using funds from my bank account instead of credit card and that went through.  I don’t get it why a company such as TransCabo cannot or won’t accept credit-card-funded Paypal payment.
