A lot of people email me to ask for my templates and instructions and advice. I’ve also provided hundreds of engaged couples free monograms. These I do for free because I love doing them.
Some people email me back with a big thank you. Some people help me spread the word. Some people even give donations. Just knowing that my efforts are being acknowledged and appreciated makes me feel great inside and encourages me to do more so I can help more. I would like to say thank you for your kind words and appreciation.
However, you may find it surprising that more than half of the people I’ve helped never emailed me back. I’ve never heard from them again. I tried to not care, but I couldn’t help but feel hurt.
Even a little thank you goes a long way… it makes people strive to do better, be a better person… it makes people happy.
UPDATE:
I am contemplating on not providing free monograms anymore. I don’t know when I’ll stop providing them. Maybe July or the end of the summer.

Don’t be frustrated. Just think of the people who have used and appreciated your beautiful designs. Bask in the glow of their happiness and that you were able to share something with them. Forget about the other, ungrateful ones.

you give…your one of the first places I looked for when planning my wedding.. You sent me a beautiful boarding pass template. And I just recently stumbled across your monograms! I couldn’t believe the styles you come up with!
They are absolutely gorgeous! I never even thought of something like that until I stumbled across yours!
Now I won’t know where to go to get them done..But all your
ideas are fantastic and you do help many of us. Take great pride in what you accomplish..not all of us are fortunate enough to have the creative vision you so dearly possess… And again.. a great big Thank you from one who
would be lost without your site and newsletters!
