I got a new desktop on Black Friday and got my monitor, a gift from John, on Christmas. I was excited. But the Linksys wireless adapter (WMP54GS) I bought is interfering with our cordless phone. So every time somebody is on the phone, I get disconnected.
I called Linksys Technical Support (they’re actually very helpful), but the problem hasn’t been resolved. I was told that there are no other products that won’t interfere with our cordless phone and that I have to either change my cordless phone or reposition it. Then I responded, “Then why were the two laptops that were on the same desk as the desktop that keeps getting disconnected were connected fine the whole time?” I really didn’t get a straight answer.
I better get a refund for this network adapter.

Now that’s really weird. I’ve never heard of network adapters interfering with cordless phone signals before. I have a wireless network at home and two cordless phones and they all work fine.
Yeah, you should just get a different model for your adapter.
