Downloaded the blog software and in minutes, was up and running. But as soon as I got into the templates page and did a couple of minutes browsing, I closed my laptop and found something else to do. It wasn’t basic html. It included extensive use of css style sheets. And I’m not even very comfortable with that yet. I thought Greymatter was better.
Then yesterday, I decided to take a shot at it. And surprisingly, got it modified to my liking in half a day. Whew! I even got to create icons for each author. But I’m the only author for now, so don’t really have any use for it… for now. Now I like WordPress better

I still like Greymatter, don’t get me wrong. If you only know basic html but like to freely customize your layout, Greymatter is good. It just doesn’t have as many features as WordPress. And it will not have any more upgrades since Noah Grey (the creator of Greymatter) plans to no longer work on it.
